Third Age 1100

The Setting

A campaign set in TA1100 provides a number of opportunities for roleplaying. The forces of Sauron are only now starting to return to the west of Middle Earth after the end of the Second Age over a millenium ago. At this time Gondor is at the height of its power with dominion over lands from Umbar to the Sea of Rhûn. The Dunedain of the south are prosperous and carefree, almost arrogant. In the north however the Dunedain realm of Arnor has fallen apart, riven in three in TA861. The three northern realms, Arthedain, Cardolan and Rhudaur, now co-exist uneasily with frequent minor skirmishes along the borders - especially around the great tower of Amon Sûl.

These tales begin in the North as a small party of bold but inexperienced adventurers join together in Annuminas...

The Adventures

Part 1 - Escort the Wagon Train

A 1st level adventure to start the characters on their way. The group respond to a request for an armed escort for a shipment of ancient books from Annuminas to Fornost Erain. [PDF]

Part 2 - Orc Hunting

The party learns of a reward being offered to hunt down some rampaging bands of orcs from the north. [PDF]

Part 3 - The Young Traitor

In which the party investigate the doings of a young nobleman. [DOC]

Part 4 - Ruckus in Ruckell

Travelling south the adventurers have a number of scuffles in the small village of Ruckell.[DOC]

Part 5 - The Journey South

The party cross the border into Cardolan to investigate the legendary bandit Denglas.[DOC]
